Getting started
Most families log their first activity within minutes of signing up. There's no complicated sign-up process — just your name, your child's details, and you're in.
No. You can take our quiz if you're curious, or just select ‘Flexible’ if you don't follow a specific style.
Anytime. Lots of families evolve their approach over time.
Yes. Each child has their own profile. Switch between them with one tap.
Yes. You can invite family members to join. You control their access level — whether they can log entries too, or are read-only. You stay in control, and can change access whenever needed.
Logging
We've worked hard to keep this as quick as possible — you can even dictate to speed up logging! Under one minute for most families.
No. Spark works whether you log daily, weekly or somewhere in between. If it's been a while, it can give you a gentle nudge.
Yes. You can backdate entries to any date.
Log it anyway. You can leave the learning area untagged, or choose whichever area feels closest. Not everything needs a label — the record itself is what matters.
Yes. You can invite tutors or family members to log directly. They see only what they need to and you stay in control.
The style quiz
No. It's completely optional, but most families find it useful to help them personalise the app.
